Operation Retail

Dear Residents 

Officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a targeted shoplifting operation today along Victoria Road, Surbiton, as part of ongoing efforts to tackle retail crime and support local businesses.

During the operation, the following results were achieved:

• 7 shoplifting offences identified

• 1 arrest made

• 6 banning notices issued

We will continue to take proactive action against those involved in retail crime. If you witness suspicious activity, please report it to us or speak to a local officer.
